Bronte Sydney – is a laid-back, family-friendly suburb with a beautiful beach and park. Once a working-class area, it has retained a welcoming vibe despite becoming a trendy place to live (so trendy it attracts Aussie celebs). Several years ago, the city’s main newspaper, the Sydney Morning Herald, declared Bronte the best Sydney suburb out of 641 contenders.
Property sizes tend to be smaller here, but many older homes have been extended to fit family-sized needs. Expect a daily struggle to find a spot to park on the street unless you’re one of the lucky few with a car space.
Bronte is bordered on the north by Bondi and Tamarama, on the east by the Tasman Sea, on the south by Clovelly, and the west by Waverley.
