Cronulla – is an unabashed beach town in the Sutherland Shire region of Sydney, with a youthful population. The enduring icon in ‘Nulla’ is its 5 km beach, a huge draw for surfers and among the famous surf spots. Due to the local train station on the beach, this is a favourite destination for Sydneysiders during the summer, and the beach can become quite packed. However, thanks to its size, there’s plenty of space to spread out the farther you walk away from the station.

Much of the housing here is provided by two- and three-story apartment buildings, many of which have just a handful of units. There are single-family homes available, however, along with the occasional high-rise.

Cronulla is bordered on the north by the Georges River and Greenhills Beach, on the east by the Tasman Sea, on the south by Port Hacking, and the west by Woolooware.
