La Perouse – is a small neighbourhood in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs that sits on Frenchmans Bay, one of the small bays off of the larger Botany Bay.
There are only a few hundred residents here, but the La Perouse Museum, Bare Island Fort, and history talks by local aboriginals have made this a tourist attraction. Because of this, there are several restaurants located adjacent to the museum.
The waters of La Perouse Sydney have some of the best scuba diving in New South Wales.
