Malabar Sydney – is a primarily residential community with a small-town feel. You’ll find quiet, wide streets with one- and two-story brick homes here, along with a few low-rise apartment buildings. There are some restaurants and shops clustered near the beach.
The beach itself sits at the back of a small bay, so it is well protected from big waves; swimming, snorkelling, fishing, and boating are popular here.
The Randwick Golf Course sits right along the cliffs of the ocean. You don’t have to be a member to play here, and you would be hard-pressed to ask for a better view while playing a round.
Malabar is bordered on the north by Maroubra, on the east by the Tasman Sea, on the south by Little Bay, and on the west by Chifley and Matraville.
