Paddington is an affluent, stylish suburb in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Once a working-class neighbourhood, it began gentrifying in the 1960s when buyers snapped up its beautiful Victorian-style terraces, many of which date to the early 1800s. The northern part of Paddington slopes towards Sydney Harbour, giving many residents an amazing view. This is a popular neighbourhood for expats.
Paddington is bordered on the north by Rushcutters Bay and Edgecliff, on the east by Woollahra, on the south by Centennial Park and Moore Park, and on the west by Darlinghurst.
