Woolloomooloo – is a suburb in Sydney’s Eastern Suburb located just east of the CBD. This historically working-class neighbourhood has gentrified, bringing in new development, higher costs of living, and Australian celebrities.
Most residences here include renovated terraces densely packed along the neighbourhood’s narrow streets and pedestrian-only walkways. The refurbished Finger Wharf hosts a trendy hotel, luxury condos (including actor Russell Crowe’s), and many upscale restaurants. Expensive yachts are moored in the adjacent marina.
Woolloomooloo is bordered on the north by Woolloomooloo Bay, on the east by Potts Point, on the south by Darlinghurst, and on the west by the Domain parklands and gardens and Sydney CBD.
