Unfortunately, in high-pressure sales, many women are taken advantage of.  Think about a single woman walking into a car yard they are preyed upon; Real Estate is no different.

If you’re a lady looking to buy a property you have a few choices, learn how to negotiate, study it.  Have a male friend accompany you to inspections.  Be confident and stand up tall.  If you want an expert on your side, consider engaging the services of a Real Estate Buyer’s Agent  Be careful who you choose, make sure they have had a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the real estate industry.

Buying a property is generally one’s biggest purchases one will make in a lifetime.  You want to make sure that you are buying in the right street, suburb, side of the road, building and you have done all the due diligence.  You can’t afford to pay too much.   Knowing what to research is important, any negatives that aren’t deal breakers can be used as an opportunity to negotiate a better price. From being in the real estate industry for over 20 years I have helped many women buy and sell a property.  One unique characteristic that oozes out of a woman’s personality is excitement and emotion. Woman tend to be more in tune with their emotions than men.  Showing your emotions to a real estate agent can be the biggest mistake you could make.  Get excited when you get back in the car and you are far away from the property.  Control those great emotions and please hold off!
